Jordan Ray Allen is a multifaceted artist who writes, directs and edits fictional films across genres, and produces music under the alias JRA. He is best known for the award-winning film noir Red Handed, which earned him 'Best Short' during his years on the festival circuit. Legendary British Cinematographer Joe Dunton (who worked on multiple films with Stanley Kubrick), described Red Handed as "Fantastic" and was stunned to learn that it was not shot on 16mm celluloid, but digitally, and given a retro film look in post-production, which would become one of Allen's stylistic trademarks.

Throughout the 2010s, Allen continued to release short films before shifting his focus to penning scripts for original feature films and series. This decision would bring about private funding, where cameras rolled in 2022 on his anthology series proof-of-concept, The Montgomery Murders, which centers on a horror-radio voice performer in the 1940s who spirals into a mental abyss darkened by revenge.

In 2024, Allen's combination of creative storytelling, editing, and careful usage of AI video, would see a final result in Jules, a fan fiction trailer that follows the Pulp Fiction character, Jules Winnfield, thirty years after he decided to "walk the earth." The trailer gained Allen recognition and a feature on Forbes.com by columnist Charlie Fink (Disney Animation Head of Development from 1986 to 1991).
Allen would end 2024 on a high note when his dark comedy sci-fi music film, Turn Up The Volume, was one of 10 selected winners for the iconic Night Flight's Music Video Film Festival, beating out submissions from 13 different countries.

In 2025, Allen was rewarded for the aforementioned Montgomery Murders, after the pilot script achieved Quarter Finalist status, then advanced to Semi Finalist, in the Emerging Screenwriters Horror Screenplay Competition.
